BLOOD IN THE AIRWAVES is my WIP adult paranormal romance horror novel.​

Despondent by her dead-end creative prospects and miserable home, Natalie Mason unexpectedly picks up a cryptic radio signal and awakens a foreign presence inside her she calls ‘The Voice’. The static siren entices Natalie to seek out the source, and is accompanied by the spectre of her deceased older sister. Yearning to uncover its connection to her sister, and hopeful that by documenting this event, she can make a name for herself, Natalie's search leads her to another who can hear the broadcast: the heavy metal radio DJ known as ‘Nighthawk’.

Joshua Jones (aka Nighthawk) is a reclusive vampire spat out by the 80s music scene. When Natalie comes to the station seeking help, he initially turns her away, turned off by her intentions to sell a story about this phenomenon. But when it becomes clear that she's entangled in something more dangerous than either of them expected, he decides to protect her as they journey across the US to chase down the origins of The Voice and unveil its connection to the car crash that killed Natalie's beloved sister and domineering father.​

Exploring themes of finding new love after trauma and stepping out of the shadows cast by ghosts of the past, the two dreamers become entwined in this tale of electrified horror that devours you whole and leaves you begging for more. 

Featuring a fresh take on vampires that blends sensual gothic tradition with evocative heavy metal visuals and concepts!
